As with any sites, there are questions, and answers to come. To save time, I will be putting here up some of them to save my time in answering the repeating ones.
What is a vitamin
Any of a group of organic substances essential in small quantities to normal metabolism.
Who coined the term vitamin
It is being attributed to Kazimier Funk, biochemist from Poland, in 1912, who came with the term "vitamine". Vita means life in Latin, and amine suffix was a reference to the fact that at the time of their discovery it was accepted that vitamines were amines. After the discovery that for example vitamin C had no amine component, the ending "e" was dropped from the word, thus changing the term from vitamine to vitamin ever since.

I hope it will serve a positive function in opening alternative horizons in the area of general information about vitamins.
